Biography

Dr. Koo received his Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2007. He joined 糖心Vlog in 2008 after working on Korean text-to-speech synthesis at Nuance Communications, Inc. He is interested in computational linguistics, Korean linguistics, phonology, and psycholinguistics. Dr. Koo is currently the director of the Center for Human Language Technology.
